So this morning I'm checking out my forums while M is happily exploring in the kitchen. All is quiet as everyone else is still asleep. I'm deeply immersed in reading a thread when I realize that there is a strange humming in the air. I stop and focus on the noise.
It is M...making a happy and contented humming.
Normally, I would just smile and go back to reading--but, today I noticed that she was sitting too still and had her back to me. Then I heard the slurping sound.
She turned and smiled at me...the dumdum clearly in her mouth.
That's right...the dumdum.
She had found one of her siblings suckers from the night before and had taken the wrapper off all by herself and was enjoying the fruits of her labor. She was eating it just like a big girl...holding the stick correctly...taking the candy in and out of her mouth...and humming happily.
Well...OK--most of us don't hum happily when we eat candy, but I bet we wish we could.
It was so cute, I just let her finish (and kept an eye on her until she was done).
Ah...the joys of sugar.

So cute! I don't think Rem has his first sucker till 18 months. Not cause I was worried he would choke, I'm just too lazy to clean up the mess...LOL!
