School days...school days....

G1 started school last Tuesday and has been sooooooo happy. All of her friends from last year (minus one who moved) are in her class this year too. D likes to tease her about her teacher because her teacher's name is Mrs. Coffin, but Gabrielle says she's very nice and not a vampire at all. The school work started out harder right from the start (no warm ups in Mrs. C's class!), but she's up to the challenge.

This is the best picture I could get of her...she has started to not want to pose for the camera. Sigh. I had to take 8 pictures and practically threaten her with the tickle pine to get this smile. Of course the wind didn't help...see second picture. LOL


Today was G2's first day of preschool. He couldn't sleep last night, he was so excited. He is going to the same preschool G1 went to and knows his teacher very well. Today, he tells me, he put stickers on his name and hurt his leg playing in the plastic car. A very satisfactory day.

How is this for a cute "first day of school" pose? He did it all by himself and I snapped it before he changed his mind. LOL


And just for giggles...M's first Oreo. I think she approved.
