Little boys...

G2 has been keeping me laughing lately. He just comes up with the funniest things sometimes and can be so sweet.

This morning I found him and Moo running around the front room and screaming (just to make noise...sigh). Occasionally they would bump into each other and stop--then G2 would bow to Moo and say "ladies first" and off they would go again. LOL

The other day we were watching a movie that had synchronized swimming in it. G2 looked at me and said, "that's dangerous". I smiled and assured him that it wasn't dangerous, but he continued to insist that it was. Finally I asked him why it was dangerous? "Because I can't swim." Can't fault the logic there. LOLOLOL

We have Rhapsody on our computer and each of our children have their own playlist. G2 knows how to get to his playlist and will sit in front of the computer and sing his little heart out. He knows all the words and has a great ear. His favorites right now are Witch Doctor (Alvin and the Chipmunks), Istanbul (They Might Be Giants), and Money (Barrett Strong). I'm going to try to catch him singing Money on video--it's really quite amusing.

Speaking of money (notice the smooth transition there)...

G2 has been carefully putting every penny, nickel, and dime he's found into a makeshift piggy bank. He is very open about the fact that he is saving all that money for a "BIG RED TRUCK" for when he can drive. I think it's cute, but I'd just been shrugging it off as a little boy's desire for trucks. One day I was teasing him and said, "why not buy a car instead?". He looked at me very seriously and said, "I need the truck so I can put a whole bunch of money in the back." I settled in to give the money-isn't-everything-so-we-shouldn't-be-obsessed-with-it speech when he continued, "then I'm going to stand on top of the money and throw it out to anyone who needs it!"

My little philanthropist...
