So...catch up time. LOL
Although we had an eventful summer...I don't seem to have a lot of pictures.
*scratches head in confusion*
Oh well.
Below is what I have evidently. LOL
The first are of my "garden". Due to a VERY late spring, I didn't have time to get the full garden up and running--so I chose to do container gardening...and mostly herbs at that. As usual, my Pineapple Sage and Chocolate Mint dominated with the 4 kinds of Basil limping along until the end of the summer--the Queen of Siam Basil was amazing to smell. I even had a volunteer Chocolate Mint. Thyme is just thyme. :D Check out my Rosemary, though--I've nursed it through 3 winters now! We experimented with container gardening with a couple veggies too. Result? Upside down tomatoes...fantastic. Container zucchini--not. Our favorite tomato was the Bloody Butcher (I couldn't resist the name)--small like a Roma, but tart in flavor.
The next three are of our 4th of July feast--I only have pictures of the children eating?
*shakes head*
Next is during the reunion we attended in August. It was Moo's first experience with the lake, so I seem to have more of her... At the reunion we attended the wedding of my nephew and so I have a few of G1 there too.
I swear we did more than that this summer. Seems like we were always going somewhere...
*mumbles something about memory and old age before shuffling off*
